Sam Pomfret

Sam is based in our Milton Keynes office, having qualified into the Commercial Real Estate department in March 2021. He advises on a wide range of commercial property transactions, including freehold acquisitions and disposals, residential development projects, and property financing, but has particular experience in the estate management of large commercial property portfolios.

• Responsible for the leasehold management of various multi-let commercial estates for several landlord clients, including two portfolios worth £100m – £200m.
• Assisting with the acquisition of 350+ commercial properties across the UK.
• Assisting with the sale of land in a strategic location to be used as a large logistics centre. The sale price of £42m was a record price per acre for B1/B8 land outside the M25.
• Acting for a global delivery and logistics giant on their leasehold asset restructuring project.
• Assisting with the acquisition of various sites for residential development on behalf of a national house builder, for £9m – £50m.
• Advising a global investment firm on the lease renewal for its high-end Japanese restaurant business in Central London (and providing other investment property advice).
• Advising a high-end fashion tenant in respect of its retail premises on Savile Row, London.
• Advising on the acquisition of multi-unit mixed-use schemes with tenants in situ on two London high streets, for redevelopment purposes.
• Negotiating an option agreement and lease on behalf of a charity Landlord client in respect of land to be used as a battery storage power station.
