About Shama

Shama Gupta qualified as a solicitor in 1988.

She has worked at Freeths since 2006 and currently has the role of Responsible Business Ambassador.

Shama was a member of The Law Society’s Lawyers with Disabilities Division (now Disabled Solicitors Network) and the Council Member for Ethnic Minorities. Shama is currently Council Member for Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire & East Staffordshire. She is also The Law Society’s Social Mobility Ambassador, and Board Member as the Chair of its Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing Committee.
