Sophie Fulwell

Sophie has over 16 years’ experience advising employers and senior executives on the full spectrum of employment law and HR matters.

She combines deep technical expertise with a clear, pragmatic and commercially focused approach that helps clients to manage risk, navigate complex workplace challenges and achieve their strategic objectives.

Sophie advises on matters across the entire employment lifecycle, including:

• Strategic HR advisory matters including performance management, grievances, disciplinary processes and dismissals

• Large-scale HR projects such as restructures, redundancies and outsourcing arrangements

• Senior exits and negotiated settlements

• TUPE transfers and workforce integration

• Complex Employment Tribunal litigation, including discrimination, whistleblowing and constructive dismissal claims

• Drafting employment contracts, director’s service agreements, HR policies and business protection provisions, including confidentiality terms and post termination restrictions

Sophie is also an experienced transactional lawyer who works closely with the firm’s corporate team to provide seamless support to businesses, investors, and individual shareholders, guiding them through the employment aspects of business acquisitions, disposals, investments and IPOs.
