Freeths LLP advise Anchor Hanover Group on their acquisition of five high-quality care homes

 

The Freeths Care Team advised Anchor Hanover on their recent acquisition of five luxury residential care homes previously owned and operated by Hadrian Healthcare Group.

The homes, in Yorkshire and County Durham, provide a total of 382 en-suite rooms for older people, including those with dementia. The deal brings the total number of care homes operated by Anchor Hanover up to 114.The deal included Wetherby Manor, which was named by Knight Frank as UK Luxury Care Home 2018 and The Manor House in Barnard Castle which was a finalist in the 2017 International Design Awards, run by the Society of British and International Design. Anchor Hanover has acquired each home on an institutional strength lease providing a 35-year term and an option for Anchor Hanover to extend for a further 10 years.
