Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
Climate change presents both risks and opportunities for your business. Reporting on these climate-related risks and opportunities will become a legal requirement for most companies from 2022 (i.e. next year) and those organisations must prepare themselves to make disclosures following the recommendations of the Task force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
In this 30 minute session Kirstin Roberts is delighted to be joined by Jamie Pitcairn from the global engineering and environmental consultancy Ricardo, who will provide an overview of the TCFD regime and explain what your business should be doing now to prepare.
Date: Thursday 15th July 2021
The regime applies to the following types of organisation:
- Listed companies;
- UK-registered private companies and LLPs with two of the below:
o >250 employees; and/or
o Annual turnover >£36m; and/or
o Annual balance sheet >£18m;
- Banks and building societies;
- Insurance companies;
- Asset managers;
- Life insurers and FCA-regulated pension schemes; and
