Freeths is complying with all the relevant sanctions regimes in relation to Russian businesses, individuals and their associated assets. We do not act for anyone on the sanctions lists.
We are reviewing all existing work to identify any Russia-related clients or engagements.
We will not accept any new instructions from any clients that are controlled by, or under the influence of, the Russian state or otherwise connected with the current Russian regime, nor will we undertake any other work which, regardless of whether or not the sanctions apply, would otherwise go against our values or professional responsibilities.
It is distressing to see the amount of suffering caused by the attack and we stand in full support of the people of Ukraine.
