Employment Training Programme: Employment law for HR

Freeths Sheffield employment team are delighted to share with you their upcoming programme of paid training events.

This last of four sessions will be focused on employment law for HR. 

The topics up for discussion will include:

• Employment contracts and HR policies – legal compliance and tailoring procedures for your organisation;
• Recruitment and employment status – lawful recruitment and getting employment status right;
• Flexible working and managing sickness absence – legal requirements and practical tips;
• Data privacy in HR – lawful processing and resolving common data protection issues.

Our training utilises workable case studies in a workshop environment, to equip delegates with practical skills to tackle tricky HR issues throughout the employee lifecycle.

All course materials are provided, including a detailed workbook to record your learning for future reference.

The session will start at 9:30am but we ask you to arrive for 9am for refreshments. Lunch will also be provided at each session.
