AI is transforming education and skills development, reshaping how we learn, teach, and prepare for the future workforce. This event will be an opportunity to learn more and explore opportunities, challenges, and innovations that may find a place in your business plans.
At this insightful event you will be able to:
Learn about the newly formed Institute of AI Education and their plans to support the introduction of AI into the education system;
Learn from the Freeths IP team about the issues and challenges AI presents to the protection of intellectual property; and
What to watch out for when implementing AI tools in the products and services that you provide to the education sector
Speakers:
Narinder Gill and Beth Lane, the Institute of AI Education York St John University;
Martin Noble, Partner, Intellectual Property, Freeths;
Frank Suttie, Director, Commercial, Freeths
This is also a chance to network and engage in an open discussion of issues affecting your business with your peers, as well as receiving top tips from experts.
A light breakfast will be served at 08:30.
The Institute of AI Education was created to respond to the growing need for AI literacy in schools and communities, ensuring that every young person is equipped not just to use AI but to understand it, question it and help shape its future. Its objectives centre on building a national centre of excellence for AI education, based in the north, developing confident and critical learners and supporting teachers with the knowledge and practical tools they need to embed AI meaningfully across the curriculum. The Institute also aims to bridge cutting-edge research with classroom practice, promote ethical and inclusive approaches to technology and build a wider movement that brings together educators, parents, industry and policymakers to prepare children and communities for an increasingly AI-driven world.
