Oxford Employment breakfast seminar
Date: Wednesday 14 October 2026
Time: 08:30 - 10:30
Venue: Freeths Oxford office, Spires House, 5700 Oxford Business Park, South, Oxford, OX4 2RW
The Oxford Employment team are delighted to invite you to their breakfast seminar, taking place on Wednesday 14 October 2026.
In this seminar, Nicola Wallbank and Russell Dann will be providing guidance on how to manage the use of AI in the workplace.
This will include answering the following questions:
We are planning to use AI to speed up our recruitment process. Is there anything we should be careful of?
We have received a lengthy grievance that is obviously drafted by AI. How should we respond?
Can we justify making redundancies based on efficiencies gained from AI?
We have an Employment Tribunal claim and have been ordered to disclose relevant documents. We used AI to guide us on the dismissal process. Do we have to disclose the AI guidance?
Someone told me that we cannot use AI for HR purposes because of data protection law. Is this true?
An employee has submitted a data subject access request for any information on AI platforms that mentions their name. Do we have to share this information?
As always, the session is free to attend. Breakfast will be served from 08:30, ready for a prompt 09:00 start. The seminar will finish around 10:30.
We look forward to seeing you on 14 October!
If you have any queries, please contact Hannah Evans.
