Freeths advises BGF on multi-million-pound investment into specialist law firm

National law firm Freeths has advised leading equity capital investor BGF on its £3.25m investment into IDR Law.

Harrogate-headquartered IDR Law specialises in the resolution of contentious wills, probate and trust disputes.

This deal will grant access for IDR Law to invest in industry-leading talent and proprietary legal tech. The company now also looks to expand its current office network of three to the Midlands, North East and London.

Corporate finance partner Dahren Naidoo led the Freeths team on this deal, supported by associates Bradley Adams (corporate) and Sarah Bogues (employment).
