Freeths continues to expand its private client offering with criminal investigations & road traffic defence
National law firm Freeths has bolstered its private client offering with the launch of its Criminal Investigations & Road Traffic Defence service.
Targeted at high net-worth individuals who are the subject of all manner of criminal investigations, which arise from both inside and outside of the workplace, this service complements the firm's well-established offering to corporate bodies who also find themselves subject to criminal enforcement.
Commenting on its launch, Paul Burnley, who is the national head of Compliance & Regulatory, said: “This new service will help establish Freeths as a leading player when it comes to the defence of high net worth individuals in any criminal investigation or proceedings.
Many of our existing clients are Directors, Senior Managers, and sporting professionals who are already known to Freeths through our dealings with their businesses or in circumstances where we have acted for their employer. When these situations arise, we know the stress, worry, and reputational damage that these investigations will cause.
At a time when the risk of adverse PR has never been so invasive through social media and other similar platforms, it is important that our clients know, when needed, they can rely on Freeths to provide a specialist, discreet, and robust criminal defence service.”
