Freeths bolsters Scottish offering with strategic Corporate Partner appointment

Leading law firm Freeths has strengthened its Glasgow office with the appointment of Corporate Partner Louise Mahon, following a year of substantial growth for the firm in Scotland. She joins from Morton Fraser MacRoberts.

Louise brings over 20 years of experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, investments, group reorganisations and strategic corporate matters across a wide range of industries, including technology, energy, financial services, transport, manufacturing and food and drink.

She has previously led high-value and complex transactions for entrepreneurs, investors, corporates and public sector bodies. Raised in Scotland and proud of her roots, Louise’s career has also included spells in Manchester and London, including time as in-house counsel for a London family office.

Recognised in the Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner in Corporate, Louise is known for her commercial judgement, calm leadership and ability to guide clients through high-stake deals with clarity and pragmatism. At Freeths, Louise will have a focus on the Scottish region whilst also supporting the wider leading UK Corporate offering.
