Freeths advises YFM Equity Partners on its investment into BE Design

Leading law firm Freeths’ Private Equity team has advised YFM Equity Partners on its investment into BE Design, the Newark-based specialist multidisciplinary built environment consultancy.

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Newark, Nottinghamshire, BE Design is a leading multidisciplinary design consultancy specialising in sustainable placemaking. The business provides civil and structural engineering, geo-environmental and highways, architecture, health and safety, M&E, and ESG and sustainability services to clients across the UK and Europe.

BE Design works across a broad range of sectors, including industrial, logistics, manufacturing and data centres, combining technical expertise with a strong commitment to sustainability throughout the lifecycle of a project.

YFM's investment will support the next phase of BE Design's growth strategy under the leadership of CEO Anna Tsartsari and Managing Director, Stephen Oakden, enabling the business to build on its strong market position and continue delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions for its clients.

The Freeths team was led by Corporate Partner Mohammed Abbas and Corporate Managing Associate Olivia Johnson. They were supported by Corporate Senior Associate Christie Nelson, Corporate Legal Assistant Kathryn Jolly and colleagues from across the firm’s specialist multi-disciplinary team.
