Freeths’ Bristol Built and Natural Environment team wins Team of the Year at Bristol Law Society Awards 2026

Freeths’ Bristol Built and Natural Environment (BNE) team has been named Team of the Year (Legal) at the Bristol Law Society Awards 2026, recognising its achievements and continued growth in the city.

The award celebrates the team’s success in the city and the impact of its work for clients across Bristol and the wider South West.

Since entering the Bristol market in 2019, the team has continued to grow, most recently strengthening its expertise in housebuilding and strategic land, and agriculture.

Recent work includes advising the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) on the St Philip’s Marsh Logistics and Distribution Hub, a grant-funded development designed to provide affordable accommodation and distribution facilities for charities, community organisations and food distribution operators.

The team is also acting for North Somerset Council on the establishment of Biodiversity Net Gain habitat banking arrangements, helping to create a model that supports local nature recovery while facilitating sustainable development.

The recognition follows continued investment in Freeths’ Bristol BNE team and its work on major development, regeneration and environmental projects across the South West.
