Emily founded Freeths’ highly successful South West Corporate practice, growing it to a market-leading team and winning multiple awards for the team’s quick growth and achievements, alongside their market-wide reputation as active promoters of DEI.  

Emily now leads Freeths’ International strategy, as the firm’s Head of International – already successfully building Freeths’ global partnerships for the benefit of our clients and creating opportunity for our 1,300+ talented people. 

Throughout her career, Emily has shaken up the status quo of the legal industry – founding and growing an innovative co-counselling team over a decade ago to deliver alternative deal-team solutions focussed on external counsel partnerships for the benefit of global corporate and financial sponsor clients. 

Alongside a dedicated can-do delivery for our clients, Emily has been a passionate promoter of DEI across Freeths and our client relationships – an early champion of solicitor apprenticeships, an openly diverse leader and committed supporter for talent progression.
