Freeths’ rising star recognised at Insider North West Young Professionals Awards

Freeths’ Corporate Managing Associate Rosanna Brown has been named Corporate Lawyer of the Year at Insider’s North West Young Professionals Awards 2026, held on Thursday 30 April 2026 at Emirates Old Trafford.

Regarded as one of the region’s leading celebrations of emerging talent, the annual awards recognise the most promising professionals aged 35 and under, celebrating excellence, leadership and contribution across a wide range of sectors. 

Rosanna was recognised by the judges for her outstanding leadership, including her role in managing a large trainee cohort and her continued commitment to supporting and developing the next generation of lawyers. The Corporate Lawyer of the Year category recognises individuals demonstrating exceptional technical ability alongside strong people leadership and commercial impact.

Based in Freeths’ Manchester office, Rosanna is a key member of the firm’s national Corporate team, advising clients on a broad range of transactions and strategic matters. She also plays an active role in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the firm’s wider talent development initiatives.
