Enabling us to offer the full cradle to grave experience, our planning advocacy team is able to support landowner, developers or promoters to achieve timely and successful outcomes with our keen commercial awareness and thorough attention to detail. 

Planning advocacy expertise

Our Advocacy team are specialists in planning and environmental matters. Comprised of dual qualified solicitor-barristers and Solicitors with Higher Rights, the team provide a ‘hands on’ service for major Public Inquiries and High Court matters.  Our ability to advise on both Planning and Environmental Law matters provides clients with a unique ‘all round’ service, often working alongside our other specialists across the wider national team. 

In addition to advocacy, and working collaboratively with the wider national team, we are able to offer non-contentious support including dealing with complex section 106 agreements, planning and environmental due diligence, planning and environmental advisory work, including advising on permitting issues and undertaking critical reviews of planning applications, informed by our advocacy work ‘at the coal face’.
