About Megan
Megan started training at Freeths in 2015 and before qualifying into the Corporate team in April 2019, was part of the legal team advising over 500 subpostmasters on their group litigation against The Post Office. She was a finalist for Trainee Solicitor of the year in the 2018 Yorkshire Legal Awards, for Emerging Dealmaker of the Year at the 2024 Yorkshire Insider Media Business Awards and Rising Star of the Year at the 2024 Yorkshire Rainmaker Awards. Megan was most recently promoted to Managing Associate in April 2024.
Megan regularly advises on the full scope of corporate matters including traditional mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, employee ownership trusts, business and asset transfers, bolt on acquisitions, trade disposals and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, MBO’s, investments, banking transactions and private equity transactions both on investment and on exit and acting for management teams and investors.
Megan is also an active member of the CSR team in the Freeths Leeds office.
