About Rhianna
A specialist energy lawyer since 2009, Rhianna helps clients realise their ambitions for prioritising and balancing energy security, cost and decarbonisation by advising on the structuring, negotiation and regulation of low carbon energy projects.
Rhianna heads up the firm’s heat networks practice (Heat Networks | Heat Networks Sector | Clean Energy | Freeths) and advises on all manner of district heating, cooling and private wire electricity projects for property developers, asset owners, investors, energy services companies (ESCOs) and local authorities.
One of Rhianna’s key focus areas is the optimisation and decarbonisation of a business’s energy use, including on-site generation, storage, purchase and management. This may include solar, wind, battery storage, microgrids, corporate power purchase, waste heat recovery, heat pumps, ambient systems, electric vehicles and the installation of energy efficiency measures.
