• advising a national retailer on numerous transactions throughout the UK over the last 15 years, including new leases, assignments, sub-lets, surrenders, development agreements, licences to alter and lease terminations and re-gears.
• acquiring and developing a 3,000-capacity concert venue with associated bar and restaurant in central Manchester, together with the acquisitions of other venues in the Northwest and Yorkshire.
• acquiring sites for a leisure operator including a 120,000 square foot warehouse in Manchester which has been converted into a beer hall, tap room, night market and food hall together with an entertainment venue.
• advising on various matters relating to the £200 million masterplan development of a university campus including negotiations regarding public space and student accommodation.
• supporting a university in relation to various property matters including the acquisition of a hotel to be converted into student accommodation and a leasehold office acquisition relating to a joint venture.
• advising a local authority in relation to various property matters including the sales, acquisitions, lettings and property management at a 150-acre business park.
