Freeths scoops triple accolade at prestigious awards
National law firm Freeths has been named Law Firm of the Year and Corporate M&A and Private Equity Director Mohammed Abbas won Emerging Dealmaker of the Year at Insider’s Midlands Dealmakers Awards 2023.
The firm was commended by judges after completing 40 Midlands-based deals during the year. ‘Popular choice’ Mohammed Abbas was also recognised for his involvement in the Midlands dealmaking community.
The team was also mentioned for its involvement on the investment by LDC into Star Live, which won Mid-Market Deal of the Year at the Awards. Freeths acted for LDC on the transaction.
