Freeths advises Aston Chemicals on its sale to DKSH

Leading law firm Freeths has advised the majority shareholder of Aston Chemicals, a specialist distributor of chemicals and ingredients for the personal care industry, on its sale to DKSH.

Backed by 35 years’ worth of operations in the UK and almost 20 in Poland, Aylesbury-based Aston Chemicals is a leading personal care distributor, with its Polish branch focusing on sun care, hair care, skin care and colour cosmetics.

Headquartered in Switzerland, DKSH is an international distributor of high-quality products and brands, serving multinational and Fortune 500 companies across Asia Pacific, Europe and North America.

This strategic acquisition will strengthen DKSH’s performance materials footprint in key European markets and will enhance its formulation expertise. The integration of Aston Chemicals’ diversified and high-quality product portfolio will enable the combined business to accelerate growth, offering customers innovative solutions and expanded product opportunities across a wide range of personal care applications.
