Freeths has won Deal of the Year (£10m-£50m) at the Insider West Midlands Dealmakers Awards 2026 for its role in advising private equity investor LDC on its backing of law firm Harper James.
The transaction, which supported Harper James' next phase of growth, brought together specialists from across Freeths' Corporate, Banking, Tax and Employment teams. The deal was recognised by judges as one of the Midlands' standout transactions of the year.
