East Midlands Employment seminars: Managing Dismissals fairly
Date: Various dates
Time: 09:30 - 11:30
Venue: Nottingham, Derby & Leicester
We are delighted to invite you to join us for our next round of employment law seminars.
The Employment Rights Act will give more employees the right to claim unfair dismissal. And there will be no statutory limit on how much employees can claim.
Against this background, our first seminar of 2026 will look in detail at what a fair dismissal process looks like and explore the tricky issues that can arise, such as:
- When it is fair to dismiss in an employee's absence
- Overlapping grievances and disciplinary issues
- Handling AI-generated appeals; and
- Why the first six months really matter (from January 2027).
We will also provide an update on other elements of the Employment Rights Act as the detail and timing of the reforms develop through the current consultation exercises.
Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights and network with fellow HR professionals and managers.
