Freeths Birmingham Corporate team has advised BGF backed Hydrock on its recent acquisition of Kelly Taylor & Associates Limited.Founded in the 1980s, Kelly Taylor & Associates is a mechanical and electrical design consultancy business specialising in the logistics and distribution sector, based in Devon and Market Harborough.Hydrock is an award-winning, multidisciplinary engineering design consultancy that employs over 500 people and has 16 offices throughout England, Wales and Scotland.Hydrock and Kelly Taylor & Associates have collaborated on a number of projects in the past and this acquisition complements Hydrock’s established multidisciplinary service offering and presence in the logistics sector.The Freeths team led by Lee Clifford and Mohammed Abbas, together with support from Freeths’ wider market-leading teams worked with Hydrock to see the transaction through to completion.Mike Yiannis, Chief Financial Officer of Hydrock, said: “Kelly Taylor & Associates are an exceptional business operating in the buoyant logistics and distribution sector.
