Leading law firm Freeths has advised private equity investor LDC on its investment in Daintta, a professional services firm delivering technology into secure environments.
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in London, Daintta provides technical and business professional services, helping clients to design, secure and protect their data and technology systems. It delivers high-complexity technology projects across data intelligence, cyber security, networks and communications and AI engineering.
The investment will support the business’ ambitious organic growth strategy, underpinned by the expansion of its professional services and the continued deepening of its specialist, security critical competencies.
The transaction reflects sustained investor interest in the UK technology services market, particularly businesses operating at the intersection of data, cyber security and national resilience.
Leading the Freeths team on this deal was Corporate Partner Zum Mohammed and Banking & Finance Parter James Dyson. They were supported by Corporate Partner Mohammed Abbas, Banking & Finance Partner Amy McVey, Corporate Director Matthew Cooper, Corporate Managing Associates Olivia Johnson and Henrietta Rendell, Corporate Senior Associate Sam Salter-Galbraith, Banking & Finance Senior Associate Rebecca Banner, Banking & Finance Associate Jay Elder, Corporate Associate Kate Rogers and Corporate Trainee Alice Smith.
Commenting on the transaction, Zum Mohammed said: “This investment reflects LDC’s strong track record of supporting management teams with ambitious growth plans and we were pleased to advise on a transaction that positions the business well for its next phase of development. Our Corporate team has a wealth of experience advising investors on complex, growth driven technology transactions, particularly in regulated and security critical sectors.”
Joseph Fison, Investment Director at LDC, added: “We’ve spent significant time getting to know Justin and the team at Daintta and have been hugely impressed by their ambition and technical expertise. The business has built an exceptional reputation for client service and has a strong culture focused on attracting and retaining the highest quality technical talent. We’re excited to support the team as they continue to scale the business and expand their capabilities in this high-growth market.”
