Freeths advises Maven on its sale to ASUENE

Leading law firm Freeths has advised Maven on its sale of UK-based supply chain intelligence and carbon management platform Secaro to ASUENE, Asia’s leading AI sustainability integrated company.

Secaro helps businesses improve visibility across their supplier networks and manage environmental reporting requirements. Its platform enables customers to gather, analyse and report key environmental and operational information, supporting organisations in more than 90 countries across sectors including automotive, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and retail.

Headquartered in Japan, ASUENE provides AI-powered carbon accounting, sustainability management and decarbonisation solutions to more than 56,000 customers globally.

The transaction combines strengths in climate technology, supply chain intelligence and advanced analytics, creating opportunities to enhance organisations' ability to monitor carbon emissions and improve supply chain performance.
