Global Business Mobility

The Global Business Mobility routes are designed to facilitate overseas businesses in establishing a presence in the UK or transferring staff on a long-term or temporary basis to the existing UK entities. These routes offer flexibility and opportunities for global mobility.

The key routes are:

Senior and Specialist Worker visa

This route allows senior managers and specialist employees of overseas businesses to be assigned to a UK business linked to their overseas employer.

Graduate Trainees

This route allows overseas migrants on graduate training courses leading to senior management or specialist positions to undertake work placements in the UK on a temporary basis.

UK Expansion Worker Visa

This enables senior managers to come to the UK to set up the UK entity of their overseas business to facilitate expansion in the UK.

Service Suppliers

This route allows service suppliers from overseas businesses to provide services in the UK in certain circumstances.
