Jaskeerat Sanghera joined Freeths in May 2023 in the Commercial team.
Jaskeerat qualified in 2017 and specialises in commercial contracts and has advised clients across a range of sectors including beauty and personal care, retail, financial services, technology, leisure, FMCG, fashion, hospitality, visitor attractions and education. She has experience in drafting, negotiating and advising on a range of B2B and B2C agreements, including in relation to the supply of goods and services, manufacturing, distribution, agency, licensing, franchising, outsourcing, warehousing and logistics, facilities and property management, software as a service, software licenses, sponsorships, promotions, competitions and prize draws, influencers and celebrities, entertainers and performers.
Jaskeerat also supports clients on data protection matters and is a qualified data protection practitioner (CIPP/E). Jaskeerat advises clients in relation to the privacy aspects of contractual arrangements, compliance, international transfers, marketing and the drafting of internal and consumer facing policies.
Prior to Joining Freeths, Jaskeerat gained several years of experience at another top 50 UK law firm where she was involved in a variety of commercial and data protection matters as well as key client secondments, in the retail and financial services sectors, and complex projects.

- Undertaking a secondment for an online retailer within their IT procurement team, assisting with reviewing and negotiating a range of contracts relating to various e-commerce software solutions and technology.
Advising clients on a wide range of issues within the retail sector, including data protection, supply chain risks and management, expansion, franchising, concessions, warehousing and logistics, software and IT, online sales, media, sponsorships, promotions, prize draws and influencers.
