Samantha Osborne

Samantha joined Freeths in 2018 as a Legal Assistant. She then completed her training and qualified into the Clean Energy, Waste & Sustainability team in 2023. She spent time in Freeths’ Corporate and Environmental teams as well as completing a Commercial secondment working in-house at Equans.

Samantha advises on matters across the clean energy, waste and sustainability sectors, including commercial contracts, transactions, project development, and regulation. Recent notable work includes advising a national home improvement retailer with >200 stores across the UK on the installation of rooftop solar PV systems at multiple premises as part of its journey towards becoming a net zero business by 2040, and advising a local authority on the rollout of electric vehicle chargepoints across its county.
