International Women’s Day Event - #ChoosetoChallenge

Freeths women invite our NEW colleagues to join us - this lunchtime panel discussion is open to all of Freeths, and our NEW network.

This year, the theme for International Women’s Day is Choose to Challenge: calling out, and challenging, gender bias and inequality to create an inclusive world. Fitting with this theme, Freeths are delighted to be hosting a panel discussion with four of our own influential and diverse partners, from across different sectors of the firm, to discuss women in leadership. They will have a particular focus on how we can challenge gender bias and inequality in professional spaces (and beyond!).Being a partner in a modern law firm like Freeths gives our panellists a unique insight into what it is like being a woman in leadership, what it took to get there and, importantly, what we need to Choose to Challenge in 2021. Join our very own leading women as they discuss their tips on reaching success and how they #ChoosetoChallenge:Nicola Heslop, Chair and Private Litiation & Family AssociatePhilippa Dempster - Commercial & Dispute Resolution & Managing Partner, LondonEmily Settle – Corporate Partner, BristolLisa Gilligan – Commercial Partner, LeicesterRachael Yates – Construction Partner, Leeds

This is not just a day for those identifying as women, but a day for all of us to celebrate women, and be part of the international efforts to create an alert and progressive world.
