Freeths advises Substantial Group management team on landmark sale
Leading law firm Freeths has advised the Substantial Group management team on its landmark £2 billion sale to InfraVia, Liberty Global and Telefónica, through their joint venture, nexfibre.
With Substantial Group being the country’s second largest alternative fibre provider, the transaction represents a significant milestone for the UK’s alternative fibre network. Following completion, Substantial Group is expected to have over 3.4 million premises and more than 500,000 customers.
The transaction will unlock £3.5 billion of international investment into UK digital infrastructure and will create the UK’s largest alternative full fibre platform.
