Securing a Skilled Worker Sponsor Licence

What is a skilled worker sponsor license?

The Skilled Worker route is the primary work route in the UK points-based immigration system. It allows UK businesses to recruit people to work in the UK in a specific job in an eligible occupation.

To sponsor overseas nationals, your business must apply for and hold a skilled worker sponsor licence. As a licenced sponsor, you will be subject to Home Office sponsorship duties, such as reporting key events and ensuring specified documentation is kept. You must ensure you understand and comply with the additional rules and processes required for sponsorship.
