Advising a OEM on its battery energy storage projects across EMEA, supporting their strategic growth in the region.
AAA BESS integrator – UK & EMEA project counsel
Providing legal support to a world-renowned AAA-rated BESS integrator on multiple projects in the UK and EMEA.
JV battery project co-located with waste-to-energy plant
Advised a joint venture between a global investor and energy developer on a 2MW battery project co-located with a clinical waste-to-energy facility. Scope included EPC (based on MF/1), O&M, and battery optimisation services.
US grid-scale battery provider – UK, global and Australasian project support
Advising a US-based grid-scale battery solutions provider on its proposed expansion into the UK market, with ambitions to deliver 1GWh of projects. The company has delivered more than 3GWh of projects globally and is currently working on one of the largest battery projects in Australasia. Our advice to date has covered end-of-life regulations for battery importers, and support for the contractor on the Energy Equipment Supply Agreement, product guarantees, escrow agreement, and deeds of assignment for a battery storage project.
50MW BESS EPC advice for JV developer
Advising a joint venture between a UK infrastructure fund and an international clean energy developer on the EPC contract for a 50MW BESS project (MF/1).
