Construction & Engineering Disputes

Within our construction and engineering practice, we have a highly regarded team able to handle the largest and most complex disputes. We are called in to handle issues of the highest strategic importance.

Our construction and engineering disputes lawyers specialise in the avoidance, management, and resolution of significant and complex construction and engineering disputes in the UK and internationally across a variety of sectors.

Our experience covers everything from construction of buildings to major infrastructure and complex engineering projects. We advise clients based around the world.

We utilise our risk management expertise to identify and address strategic threats. We advise our clients on issues when they arise during the project. If a dispute cannot be avoided and action becomes necessary, we cover all forms of dispute resolution, such as litigation, adjudication (including dispute boards), arbitration (domestic and international), expert determination, mediation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). We also act on enforcement, including of adjudication and arbitration awards.

We have extensive experience of contracts in the construction and engineering sector such as NEC, JCT, FIDIC, IChemE, MF/1 forms, as well as bespoke EPC/turnkey and other contracts, such as professional appointments. We have experience of contracts used in specific industry sectors such as LOGIC, BIMCO and Orgalime.

We are regularly recognised in industry directories such as Legal 500 and Chambers for the quality of our work.
