Danielle Lang

Danielle has specialised exclusively in Family Law since 2015, developing a strong and well-rounded practice across all aspects of relationship breakdown. Her expertise includes divorce, financial remedy proceedings, children, and disputes involving unmarried couples and cohabitation. She has particular strength in advising on financial matters arising from separation, including the division of complex assets, property disputes, and pension sharing, and is focused on securing fair, practical outcomes through negotiation, Non-Court Dispute Resolution, or, where necessary, court proceedings.

Danielle regularly advises on high-conflict and complex cases, bringing a combination of strategic insight and a calm, measured approach. She has significant experience in cases involving domestic abuse (emotional, physical, and sexual) and has successfully supported clients in obtaining urgent protective injunctions, including non-molestation and occupation orders, ensuring their safety and security. 

In children matters, Danielle draws on her valuable public law background to provide both sensitive and robust representation across all areas of private children law. She is particularly experienced in urgent interim applications and cases requiring swift protective action. Danielle has successfully represented parents and grandparents, including those seeking to re-establish or strengthen relationships with their grandchildren. Her in-depth understanding of public children law is especially beneficial in matters involving social services, Children’s Guardians, and allegations of alienating behaviours.

Danielle also has a particular interest in representing clients facing fabricated or exaggerated allegations of domestic abuse, ensuring their position is clearly advanced and their rights are protected throughout the legal process.

Known for her compassionate, empathetic, and pragmatic approach, Danielle delivers clear, straightforward advice tailored to each client’s circumstances. Danielle is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (FCILEx) and a member of Resolution, a national organisation committed to the constructive and non-confrontational resolution of family disputes. She promotes an amicable and solution-focused approach wherever possible, particularly where children are involved.

She was also shortlisted for Junior Lawyer of the Year at the BB&O (Berks, Bucks and Oxon) Legal Excellence Awards in 2024.
